Traditional Indian Lanterns Indian lantern artist. We use mostly recycle, renewable and eco friendly material. we produce Traditional Indian: (Cuboctahedron shape) and Karanji shape.

We are a ten year old traditional Indian lantern manufacturing unit located In Nashik, the main administrative and business center of North Maharashtra. Ladies who have liking for art and who belong to humble class work as artist at our place, in this way they get regular income all the year round. We are strictly against chopping of trees and using unnecessary electricity…we use only waste wood,

which we get from the scrap box packing suppliers from the nearby industrial zone
We manufacture two type of lanterns in various sizes, the toran lanterns and the Traditional Indian: (Cuboctahedron shape)

1. The toran lanterns:
Locally known as ‘karanji’
It comes in 7 inches in length to 5.5 feet in length
It is manufactured in paper cloth, card sheet or tissue (wooly paper)
The sturdy structure, made from tissue paper, with pvc sheets structure and fabric stripes is a sturdy lantern, and can withstand strong wind and sizable amount of rain. The smaller size are used in sequence at the doors and windows, these are made from eco friendly material as well as paper-fabric-pvc combination


2. Traditional Indian: (Cuboctahedron shape)
The traditional Indian lanterns are made from soft wood, paper as well as various kind of fabric including basic color cotton cloth, embroidery, jute, bamboo mats, khadi and other thread as well as print work

This category comes from 3 inches to 60 feet’s in size

For commercial as well as for function we design traditional lanterns with name, logo, and theme of the client according to his need, for that we use cotton, canvas, jute and pvc flex material

All the work is done with hands and only 10% of machines are used

Prior booking for bulk order is must. We accept orders only after full payment. We have participated in
