Attending Sikkim Design Week in my hometown of Namchi on the 19th and 20th of May was yet another inspiring and empowering experience. The event served as a vibrant platform where I had the chance to connect with a diverse group of creatives, innovators, and professionals, each bringing unique perspectives and ideas. It opened doors for potential collaborations and allowed me to extend the reach of my work to a wider, more engaged audience. The thoughtful feedback I received was both encouraging and constructive, pushing me to further refine my craft. Most importantly, the genuine support and enthusiasm from the community reaffirmed my passion and commitment to growing within this dynamic creative ecosystem.

Inspired by the delicate beauty of real orchids, I have lovingly fashioned this bloom by hand using natural corn husk. Each petal has been carefully cut, softened, and shaped to mimic the graceful curves and layered elegance of the true flower. Subtle tinting and fine detailing bring life to the husk, transforming this humble material into a strikingly lifelike imitation.

In homage to this botanical marvel, I have meticulously handcrafted a replica of the Orchid using premium-quality ribbons. Each petal has been carefully shaped and layered to mirror the intricate patterns and soft curvature of the real flower. The choice of rich satin ribbons enhances the lifelike texture and luminescence, capturing the Orchid’s ethereal charm.
