UTSAHTOLI is a community cultural centre for the children of four villages in Naukuchiatal, District Nainital, Uttarakhand, India.

UTSAHTOLI (www.utsahtoli.org) is a community cultural centre for the children of four villages in Naukuchiatal, District Nainital, Uttarakhand, India. It was initiated in 2015 by Aruna Vasudev in association with Pramod & Neelima Mathur. It is envisioned as a Third Space away from home and school where children play indoor / outdoor games, learn crafts, are initiated into internet-based guided learning and chill over a cup of coffee. Welcome to the world of children at UTSAHTOLI.

It is certainly moving on...In less than a month, 11 successful sessions for Word of the Day. Two or more children form their Hindi sentence, get / find the English words, make the English sentence...and learn atleast one new English word.

As we end year 10, an emotional day...Due to some odd circumstances, a fatherless child is being sent back to his hometown. He has been nurtured for three years. On his last day, his request: May I take one book from the Library? It was a heart-wrenching moment for the team...Our blessings go with him.
