"Rajasthan Mahotsav" was conceptualized in the year 1999. After its huge success in past events and overwhelming response from all corners, this year we are again organizing this Mela at the South Central Zone Cultural Center, Civil Lines, Nagpur. It is a recreation of a Village of Rajasthan and Replica of "Chokhi Dhani", with performances by internationally famed folk artist from Rajasthan.
The Highlights of Rajasthan Mahotsav is the authentic Cuisine of Rajastjan namely Dal-Baati-Churma, Baajare ki Roti, Gwarfali Ki Sabji, Raabri etc. which is prepared by Royal Maharaj (Cooks) from Rajasthan and served by popular Rajasthani "Manuhar" - a traditional way of pampering guests.
With the creation of Sand dunes, the camel-ride, scintillating performances by folk artists, traditional Fire Dance and puppet shows, display of skills by expert rural craftsmen, mehandi, bon-fire and the rural ambience of a typical rustic village of Rajasthan the Mela Ground in Nagpur, the true experience of the Desert Land takes us back to our Roots.
