Tulsiramji Gaikwad-Patil College of Architecture celebrated the World Environment Day in Mohgaon village on 5th June 2019 in presence of women & children. The importance of preserving & protecting environment was explained to villager's present by Prof. Vandana Khante, Principal;
saplings of various indeginous plants were distributed to the ladies present. The importance of not to burn leftovers of the crop in the field to protect the environment was also explained. Alternative methods for disposal of waste were suggested.
Both teaching and non-teaching staff grace the program. The program was coordinated by Prof.Nitesh Jibhkate.

TGPCA at the IIA Exhibition of B.Arch Final Year Thesis Works -The Indian Institute of Architects, Nagpur Centre organized the 12th Consecutive Annual Exhibition of Thesis Works of Final Year Students of Bachelor of Architecture. All institutes of architecture in the Nagpur region were invited to participate in the display of works at Niyogi Hall, LAD college, Shankar Nagar, Nagpur on 26th & 27th May 2019. Two students, Marcia Paul and Sakshi Nakshane proudly represented TGPCA at the event and received good reviews. Both received certificates from IIA.
This exhibition is a part of regular activities of the Nagpur Centre to motivate students to excel and to promote awareness about architecture among prospective students of architecture in particular and the public in general.
Some of the best projects of students from institutions of Architecture of the region are on display.,The visitors are able to get a sense of the nature of students work and the thinking process that goes into designing. The exhibition was well received. @ Nagpur

TGPCA - Hosted NASA Zonal Council Meet on 25th and 26th May 19.
Tulsiramji Gaikwad-Patil College of Architecture is hosting a two day Zonal meet for Zone 3 of the National Association of Students of Architecture (NASA) on 25th and 26th May 2019.The meet was inaugurated by Prof.Anil Hood, Executive Director, GPGI; NASA President Idris Ahmed Sharif and Zonal president Ayushi Sawalka in the presence of Prof.Sandeep Gaikwad, Treasurer GPGI; Prof.Vandana Khante, Principal, TGPCA; Prof. Renuka Potdar, HOD, TGPCA and Prof.Nitesh Jibhkate, Teacher-in-Charge.
The meet will see attendance from all Unit Secretaries and Unit Designees from the member colleges. The agenda will include discussions of the projects for the coming year, a hearing of issues from member colleges and bids for the Annual Zonal Meet. Workshops have been organized for both days. The students of TGPCA have worked tirelessly to make the meet a success.
