In order to make community food self sufficiency, our villager started cultivating rice shifting cultivation. This is one way to ease food shortage in the community if there paddy cultivation production gets poorer. They will also get to enjoy new rice during blessey rainy day which happens every 23rd sept and it is one of the first Bhutanese losar to celebrate.
