The ECC Carnival is back and the English Theatre Society is now inviting scripts. So all those of you out there who love penning down dialogues and wish to see an entire ensemble that you've created come alive , brace yourselves and put your best foot forward!

The English Theatre Society and Ithaka 2017 bring you an Acting Workshop on 'Characterization'

Conducted by Meghana Telang - experienced actor, ex-Chair of the ETS and a TEDx Speaker, Meghana has acted in over a dozen plays, conducted numerous drama workshops and has also served as the Festival Manager of Prithvi Theatre's Thespo.

Come and discover how characters 'come alive' by learning new techniques and brush up your acting skills!

Date: Monday, 18th September
Time: 3-6 pm
Venue: Seminar Room

Note: This is a free workshop and open to all. Attendance is compulsory for all Ithaka Actors.

We're back again with our next workshop on Thursday, the 7th of September, 2017, at 2:30 p.m. in LR 02 (former GCR).
With Ithaka auditions just a few days away, we know a lot of you are anxious about giving them your best shot. Come join us as we share with y'all some tips, specifically for monologuing. It will be a lot of fun!

Ps: It would be preferable if you can come prepared with your favourite monologue, so that we can help you with it. See you there!

GREETINGS, all aspiring Thespians!
Tomorrow , the 4th of August, at 2.30 in the seminar room, the English Theatre Society is holding its first meeting for this academic year. So this is a shout-out to all those theatre aspirants and enthusiasts out there, who have time to spare and some remnant brain space to utilise, to come join us in our first session for the year.
This is also the best place to start from for theatre beginners who wish to be a part of Ithaka regardless of whether you wish to do so as an actor or director.
Looking forward to seeing you there !!!
