What started as a standard cake table turned into one of my favourite corners from this celebration — simply because we chose to work with the space instead of over-styling it.

One of my favourite hosting tricks to notice at a table…
A simple piece of cheesecloth wrapped around the lemon while squeezing it — the juice flows through beautifully, but the seeds stay behind.
Tiny details like these may seem small, but they’re what make a table feel thoughtful, refined, and effortless to your guests.

There was a time I would put one big bowl of chaat or snacks on the table and call it a day
Then somewhere along the way, I started serving little portions individually — one or two dahi vada individually served , a spoon of chaat there, rasmalai placed individually— and I realised how different the table instantly felt.
Not fancier.
Just warmer. More personal, practical.

People notice the details.They get food that’s plated for them ! Not messy- not broken.
And honestly, even the simplest food suddenly feels special.
These are the kind of pieces I keep reaching for when I host — especially for small gatherings at home ✨

Everyone sees the finished table.
Very few see this part —
the flower trials, prototype approvals, sampled napkins, team huddles, endless back-and-forth, and the people making it happen.
