“STOP SPREADING FAKE NARRATIVES ABOUT OUR KUNAL”

In a new emotional video, Pallavi Patil, late Sangita Chandgude’s sister and Kunal’s maasi breaks down while appealing to people to stop spreading fake news and narratives about her family.

She says people making videos mocking Kunal “know nothing about our family” and that such content is causing immense pain to relatives who are already grieving the tragic loss of three family members.

Her emotional appeal: “Stop spreading fake narratives about our Kunal.”

The family is now urging people to show sensitivity and allow them to grieve.

The tragic death of 18-year-old Kunal Chandgude, his father Murlidhar Chandgude (48) and mother Sangita Chandgude at Khawadya Dongar in Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar has taken a new turn after old videos of Sangita surfaced online.

Sangita was active on YouTube and regularly posted videos about relationships, family issues and personal experiences. In one of her older videos, she spoke about the alleged behaviour of a husband’s sisters towards their sister-in-law, claiming that such conflicts could create misunderstandings, fights and problems within a family. Reports have identified the woman she repeatedly referred to in these videos as her nanand (husband’s sister).

In another video uploaded just one day before the tragedy, Sangita spoke about relationships and said that when love and effort are not valued or reciprocated, there is no point continuing in such a relationship. She used the example of a chapati needing to be roasted from both sides, comparing it to a relationship that requires effort from both people.

Reports also state that Sangita had been living separately from her husband, although the circumstances surrounding this arrangement have not been officially established.

These old videos have now raised questions about whether there were long-standing family and in-law conflicts within the Chandgude household.

Mumbai’s suburban railway network after a 62-year-old disabled passenger, Kejitan Pal Denis Piris, allegedly fell from a moving local train following an altercation with another passenger over seating.

According to police and media reports, the incident took place on Thursday, August 20, aboard a Churchgate–Borivali slow local, in the Divyangjan coach, between Mahim and Bandra.

An argument reportedly broke out inside the coach over a seat. During the confrontation, the 62-year-old passenger was allegedly pushed from the moving train, causing him to fall beside the railway tracks.

He was found seriously injured and rushed to Bhabha Hospital in Bandra West, where he later succumbed to his injuries while undergoing treatment.

The alleged accused, identified as 48-year-old Amjad/Amajad Safruddin Shaikh, was reportedly caught by fellow passengers and handed over to the Bandra Government Railway Police (GRP).

Police have registered a murder case under Section 103(1) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) and are investigating the exact sequence of events.

There are also differing accounts about what happened immediately before the fall. While reports citing police indicate that the incident followed a seating dispute, another report said the accused claimed he was trying to drive away a crow and that the push was accidental. The exact circumstances are therefore still under investigation.

A dispute over something as ordinary as a seat has now ended in the death of a 62-year-old passenger, raising fresh concerns about aggression and passenger safety inside Mumbai’s crowded local trains.

A tragic incident was reported at Mumbai’s Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport, where a 54-year-old government chauffeur, identified as Pramod Jadhav, died after falling from the P10 level of the Terminal 2 parking facility on August 20.

According to police-linked reports, Jadhav had arrived for duty at around 8:30 am. At approximately 11:30 am, after parking a vehicle at P10, he reportedly ran towards the edge and fell to the lower P4 level. He was rushed to Cooper Hospital, where doctors declared him dead.

Police reportedly recovered a su***de note written in Marathi, addressed to his wife and college-going daughter. The note reportedly stated that no one should be held responsible for his death and referred to the distress he was experiencing over prolonged illness.

Reports from multiple outlets state that Jadhav had been undergoing treatment for chronic kidney disease and was reportedly struggling with his health condition. However, one report cited a different medical condition, so the exact medical history should be treated as subject to police confirmation.

Jadhav was reportedly a government-assigned chauffeur who drove officials including Bombay High Court judges, registrars and bureaucrats. Police have registered an Accidental Death Report (ADR) and are examining CCTV footage from the airport to establish the sequence of events.

A shocking stabbing incident has been reported from Dahisar, Mumbai, where a minor boy allegedly attacked a woman with a knife following an alleged dispute.

The incident took place at around 9 pm on Thursday in Lane No. 4, Ganpat Patil Nagar, under the jurisdiction of Borivali MHB Police Station. The woman, identified as Suman Thakur, reportedly suffered serious, life-threatening injuries after being allegedly stabbed repeatedly.

According to reports, the teenager had allegedly raised concerns about an illegal ma*****na cultivation operation and claimed that Suman Thakur had subsequently been threatening him and his family. Police are investigating these allegations and the circumstances that led to the confrontation.

What has drawn further attention to the case is a video reportedly recorded by the minor after the attack. In the video, accessed by NDTV, the boy allegedly speaks about the stabbing and says he does not know whether the woman is dead or alive. Police are examining the video as part of their investigation.

However, The woman survived the attack and was reported to be in stable condition. Suman Thakur was hospitalised and her condition was stable. An FIR has been registered against three people, including the minor, and police have arrested one of the accused while the investigation continues.

A routine afternoon in Nalasopara turned fatal when a grey Maruti Suzuki Eeco struck two women walking in Datt Nagar, Nalasopara East.

According to police the incident took place on Wednesday, August 19, around 4:30–4:45 PM. The two women, Shreya Misal (32) and Pragati More (36), were reportedly returning home after work when the vehicle hit them.

Both women sustained injuries. Shreya was rushed to hospital but succumbed to her injuries at around 9:45 PM, while Pragati survived and was undergoing treatment for serious injuries.

The vehicle reportedly contained liquor bottles that had been purchased from a wine shop. However, police later clarified that the 16-year-old was not under the influence of alcohol at the time of the incident. The exact circumstances of why the minor was driving the vehicle and transporting the liquor are being investigated.

The police account also differs from the initial description of the vehicle simply “speeding”: investigators reportedly said the teenager was attempting to move the Eeco a short distance while the designated driver was outside a shop, when the vehicle suddenly accelerated.

The incident has raised serious questions about a minor being allowed to operate a vehicle, supervision of commercial vehicles, and the circumstances surrounding the liquor consignment.

Police are investigating the case and further details are awaited.

A woman died, and another was left seriously injured after a speeding car hit them in Mumbai’s Nalasopara East. The two women were walking home from work along the roadside when the vehicle struck them after taking a turn from the opposite direction.

The women have been identified as 34-year-old Shreya Misal and Progress More, both of whom suffered severe injuries in the crash. Shreya Misal later died during treatment, leaving behind her husband and two young daughters.

Investigations revealed that the car was being driven by a 17-year-old minor at the time of the accident. Following the incident, Tulinj police filed a delayed FIR against three people, including car owner Rajesh Shah and primary driver Mahesh Naik, for allowing a minor to get behind the wheel.
