A breathtaking moment from the opening of India Week Karlsruhe 2026 at the Stadtkirche am Marktplatz!

Watch as The Singing Tree Choir (Mumbai) , conducted by Basu with on the piano, joins forces with the dancers of the (Mannheim), led by , for a powerful performance of Vande Mataram. 

A beautiful reminder that no distance is too great when music and dance bridge our cultures.

🎶 The MMMF Singing Tree Choir is on stage in Germany!

From the grandeur of the Munich Opera House, to the awe-inspiring Ulmer Münster — the world’s tallest gothic church — to an electric Thursday performance at Schubart Gymnasium where the audience stole the show. 🇩🇪✨

A very special highlight: we had the honour of meeting the legendary Maestro Zubin Mehta at the Opera House, who warmly shared memories of his father and his cherished connection to India. A moment we will treasure forever.

Germany, you’ve been incredible. Thank you!

From Mumbai to Ulm 🐦🌳 The MMMF Singing Tree Choirs performed alongside the Ulmer Spatzen Chor at their annual choral concert, with a very special stop in Munich to meet Maestro Zubin Mehta. A week of music, friendship, and joy. 🎵✨

Snippets from our performance at the Schubart Gymnasium in Ulm last evening was an amalgamation of smiles, laughter, and lots of happy tears!
