On International Dance Day 2025, we premiered our short creation 'On the Watch'. Reflecting upon The vandalism of The Habitat in Mumbai, this piece became a medium for us to express our fears and our aspirations as artists.
We received incredible feedback from our viewers and decided to create an evening of performances that opens space for further introspection and interaction with the audience.
That's how 'The Zone' cane to life.
Today, we have performed 6 sold out shows of The Zone and continue to exercise our freedom of expression.

This World Dance Day, we remind you to let dance be your voice. Art is freedom, and freedom is political!

"Against all odds" started as a visual where we explore outdoor spaces, interact with the city and see what movement that would inspire.
Only eventually we realised what it truly meant, why we chose to move in a certain way.
The thoughts that were silently brewing in our minds and hearts, revealed themselves through this process.

What started as a mere conversation around the practice of ghunghat / veil, turned into a voice for suppressed thoughts. Mol is not a call for action and neither does it offer a solution, it simply demands presence, acknowledgement and introspection. Does gender changes worth?
