It gives us immense joy to share that on 1st October at 6:00 PM,
at the historic Tilak Smarak Mandir, Pune, an evening of dance, poetry, and music awaits you.

Ashta-Nayika – the eternal poetic concept of the eight shades of love –
is brought alive through a rare confluence of literature, music, dance, and theatre.

Penned with deep sensitivity by the eminent poet Dr. Poonam Vyas,
Adorned with the melodious voices of Guru Dhanashree Kulkarni and Kumar Karandikar,
Elevated by the soulful Kathak dance and choreography of Guru Mayur Vaidya,
Enriched by the graceful performances of the dancers of Mayur Vaidya Art Temple,
And further embellished by the evocative abhinaya of Madhuraa Vaidya.

✨ DASDARPAN 25 ✨
A celebration that’s very close to the heart of Mayur Vaidya Art Temple (MVAT)!

In this tradition-filled event, MVAT students offer their heartfelt “Nritya-Gurudakshina” to their Guru, Mayur Vaidya, through dance.
This beautiful legacy was initiated by his Guru, Pandita Archana Joglekar, who used to choreograph special pieces as a Gurudakshina to her Guru Pandita Asha Joglekar.

Carrying forward this venerable tradition with unwavering pride and heartfelt devotion, the Disciples of Guru Mayur Vaidya exemplify a legacy of inspiration and excellence. Today’s generation of MVAT students continues this noble journey, forging new paths with dedication and vision. What could be more meaningful than that?

This year’s DASDARPAN 2025 features powerful dance direction by:
