WHERE SILENCE BECOMES FORM
A Solo Exhibition by Nidhi Sharma
The paintings in this exhibition are inspired by my journeys through the Himalayas—its mountains, forests, quiet pathways, ancient temples, and ever-changing light. While these works begin with places I have seen and experienced, they are not intended to describe a particular landscape. Instead, they explore the way a place is remembered, felt, and carried within us.
Over time, memory softens details and leaves behind something more essential: an atmosphere, a feeling, a moment of stillness. Through layers of colour, texture, and light, I seek to create paintings that reflect these inner landscapes.
For me, silence is not empty. It is a space of listening, reflection, and presence. Each painting is an invitation to pause, slow down, and spend time with what quietly emerges.
Where Silence Becomes Form brings together a body of work that explores the relationship between landscape, memory, and contemplation, offering viewers a space for quiet engagement and personal reflection.
