Through 'The Reading Room Project', we bring together theatre lovers and readers to experience powerful writing in its purest form — through a rehearsed reading followed by an open, engaging discussion, unpacking the text and the themes.

This edition features “The Unexpected Man” by Yasmina Reza, the acclaimed playwright behind Art and God of Carnage.

The Reading Room Project is TTG’s love letter to literature — a space where we pause the noise of life and lean into the intimacy of words. Imagine a cozy living room, a few friends, steaming cups of chai, and stories that stir something within you.

This time, we step into the gripping world of Broken Images by master playwright Girish Karnad.
It’s the story of a woman caught in the conflict of her many selves — an author, a sister, and a wife — until one day, she finds herself talking to herself.

There’s intrigue, mystery, drama, laughter, and plenty of room to reflect.
