The seminar, which will be taking place on Day 2 at ‘Echoes of Tradition’ will be moderated by two distinguished figures in the world of Indian dance.
Shri. Ashish Sarojamohan Khokar is a leading dance historian, author and critic with over four decades of contribution to the arts. Editor of ‘attenDance’ and author of 25 books, he has curated major cultural initiatives in India and abroad. As Chairman of the Neemrana Dance Initiative and Advisor to IGNCA, he continues to shape India’s cultural and dance discourse.
Smt. Gauri Sharma Tripathi is an internationally acclaimed Kathak exponent, choreographer and curator, trained by her mother and guru, Padma Sharma. Based between India and London, she is known for her creative vision that bridges classical tradition with contemporary expression. As Artistic Director of Amara Nritya Kala Hansa and ANKH Dance UK, she has presented acclaimed works and curated festivals worldwide.
Together, they bring deep artistic understanding, experience and perspective to this dialogue on tradition and innovation.
