Stop sidechaining your bass the obvious way.
That pumping? Everyone can hear it.

Do this instead

Duplicate your kick → send it to Soothe2 external sidechain.
Insert Soothe2 on your bass channel.

Set it like this:
• Mode: High Cut
• Soft/Hard: Hard
• Selectivity: ~7
• Sharpness: ~2
• Attack: Fast
• Release: Match tempo & groove

Now what’s happening…

Instead of ducking the whole bass…
you’re dynamically removing only the exact frequencies
where the kick hits.

No pumping. No holes. No loss of weight.

It’s transparent to the ear…
but your LUFS and headroom go up.

Cleaner low end =
You can push your master harder
without distortion or that squashed sound.
