This year, nature has been unkind to Marathwada heavy floods have caused immense loss to farmers and the general public.
To extend a helping hand, the Pune Artists Group has decided to contribute in its own humble way. A grand art exhibition featuring artworks by more than 260 artists is being organized at Bal Gandharva Rang Mandir, Pune, from October 15 to October 18.
Over 300 beautiful paintings — one or two from each artist will be on display from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. every day. Entry is free for all visitors. All paintings will be available for sale at a uniform and very nominal price, making this a golden opportunity for Pune residents and art lovers to build their collections.
The entire amount raised from sales will be donated towards educational materials for children in Marathwada. The artists will not be accepting any remuneration for their participation.
As a proud member of this group, two of my paintings will also be showcased in the exhibition.
