Satadru’s first tattoo wasn’t just a design. It was a worldview.

Yin yang. Memento mori. Memento vivere. A chakra. All woven together from Stoicism and Taoism into one symbol about the two most important forces in existence: life and death.

Pranav didn’t want an XO tattoo. Didn’t want album art.

He came with four references: a Sorayama doll, a full moon, the Kaba robe, and the Starboy album cover pose. Oh, and the mask with glowing red eyes.

One cohesive design. The Weeknd at the centre, flanked by two robotic figures, full moon behind him, red eyes cutting through the black and grey.

This is what it looks like when a fan actually thinks it through.
