Be Prophets of HOPE - ADVENT ACTIONS.

1. Discover who we are through an encounter with God and each other.
2. AWAKEN memories of goodness (write them down - thank God).

3. Don't dwell on bad news today!! MOVE ON, SEARCH FOR THE GOOD NEWS.

4. Make a commitment not to give in to despair if something doesn't go the way you thought it should have.

5. If you come across a negative attitude or remark on social media, stop and say a prayer for the person who has shared it.

6. HAVE DINNER WITH YOUR FAMILY and get all family members to share a happy memory from the past with
photographs.

7. Visit someone who is unwell, take flowers or cookies.

8. SIT WITH SOMEONE who seems to be despondent for whatever reason and try to UNDERSTAND THEM and then point the way to something hopeful.

9. Reconnect with an old acquaintance whom you haven't spoken to for a while, and enquire about how they are doing.

10. MAKE AN INSTAGRAM REEL OR TIK-TOK VIDEO with your grandma or an elderly person in the neighbourhood.

The Eucharistic Celebration, broadcast live at 6:00 pm IST.
Followed by the Gala performances featuring choirs, a myriad of art forms including dance and more. All of this, virtually!

Join our participants from all over the world and share in their music and experiences of “being love”.

To celebrate the feast of Christ the King, our only KING & SAVIOUR on Nov 22 we invite you to join us in a time of reflection for just 45mins. We have specially organised this prayer during this time of the pandemic. We can assure you that this will have a very calming effect on you and your families. We will follow the Taize Prayer format.

The Taize Style of PrayerA dimly lit interior. An assembly of people facing an illuminated altar. Chants. A psalm. Intercessions. A scripture reading. Periods of silence to listen and communicate with God is the essence of this prayer.

Guidelines for the online prayer:
• Read the points for reflection on the screen before we start the prayer
• Sit wherever you feel comfortable, but facing the screen.
• Preferably keep your lights off.
• You may keep a small crucifix/icon & lamp of your own before you.
• Chant and pray with us, as you feel led by the spirit.
• No spoken instructions will be given to you.
• Maintain silence.
• There will be a ten-minute silent reflection after the reading.
• A bell will indicate the formal start of the prayer and the end of the prayer.
• At the final bell you may leave the prayer in silence and/or continue in prayer for a while.

Taize Online Prayer

We honour Uncle Benny Gracias. A wonderful cellist, fantastic friend and a generous, gracious and kindhearted man who gave of his time and talent willingly. He may have left his earthly home but his musical strains and legacy will remain with us always. We thank him for being a true friend and support of sacred music as well as Pueri Cantores India.
