Still processing the magic of last night. ✨🖤

So many day ones in one place, alongside so many beautiful new faces. 🥹 There honestly aren’t words big enough to describe what we’re feeling, our hearts are simply so so full.

A huge thank you to annaefraimsson , and the entire crew at MDT - Moderna Dansteatern for such a beautiful collaboration. Thank you for creating a space where we could come together, share, celebrate and connect. Let's do it all again. 😉

And a huge thank you to Kankurang for bringing your beautiful energy, sound and rhythms into the room and making the night what it was. 💜

And to , who was part of the original Mahoyo, thank you for sharing the decks with us and being part of this celebration. It felt really special to have you there. 🥹

And a very special shoutout to our incredible creative team for joining us and opening the doors to their creative process, giving both us and the audience a glimpse into the making of *I Become More With You*. It meant more than you know. 💜

And to each and every person who showed up, stood beside us, believed in us, supported us and has carried us with so much love and care throughout these past 10 years: **THANK YOU.** 🥹💛

We feel you. We see you. We love you.

Here's to 10 years of becoming, together. ✨

Okay… gonna go cry now. 😭

Meet Kankurang 💜

Kankurang is a musical duo that brings together the talents of Kenyan DJ/producer Jinku and Gambian drummer Kebba. The project is a vivid exploration of cultural fusion, blending contemporary Kenyan music with Gambia’s dynamic rhythms, all set against the backdrop of contemporary Swedish electronic music.

After the film and conversation, the party continues with Kankurang, a DJ set with live drums. Then we’ll take over the decks and keep the night going until midnight.

Labour of sweat, tears, panic attacks and love.
10 YEARS ago we embarked on what would become our longest film journey to date – the making of "Jag blir mer med dig / I Become More with You".

Staying true to our delusional selves, we believed we could — and that we had to — accomplish it, one way or another. All of this was possible thanks to our absolute gem of a community and our loved ones, who have given us so much support, inspiration and love.

We understood that we didn’t only have to do it for ourselves, but for all of us. We matter. Our stories matter. Our struggles and our joy matter. Q***r lives matter. Black lives matter. Muslim lives matter. Trans lives matter... MIGRATION MATTERS.

WE ARE SO PROUD AND TRULY HUMBLED TO ANNOUNCE THAT OUR DOCUMENTARY
"Jag blir mer med dig / I Become More with You"
WILL PREMIERE AT THE FIRST EDITION OF MIGRATION MATTERS FILM FESTIVAL IN SWEDEN.

🗓️ Friday 20 February, 18:30–20:30
📍 Filmcentrum Riks, Bredgränd 2, Stockholm
🎟 30 SEK at the door (Swish)
Small venue – first come, first served.
