My dear friend Shefali left us too soon.
We were in art college together and our friendship continued for 45 years. That she wanted to join my classes to learn a new medium of art was very disconcerting at first. She did, and within no time needed absolutely no guidance. She painted some beautiful pieces of China. Floral, whimsical, abstract.
While she battled cancer over the last 21 months, she was upbeat, wanting to meet up during her ‘good’ weeks between Chemo. Decked out in her best looking very smart with a stylish hat!
No one would have guessed what her body was going through.

We will miss you dear Shefali. Rest in peace dear friend.
