It encapsulates within itself formidable talents of Indian cinema irrespective of region and language. IFTDA President Ashoke Pandit and Vice President Swapna Waghmare Joshi visited Hon’ble Chief Minister Shri Devendra Fadnavis Ji, along with representatives of the Federation and the makers and cast of Oscar-entry Marathi film Gondhal , to seek the Maharashtra Government’s support for the film’s Oscar campaign.

Representing the Federation were FWICE General Secretary Ashok Dubey and Shri Nishant Ujjwal

The Gondhal delegation included Writer, Director & Producer Santosh Davakhar , Producer Diksha Davakhar , and cast members Kishore Kadam, Ish*ta Deshmukh and Yogesh Sohani.

The meeting was initiated by IFTDA President Ashoke Pandit and led by Mumbai BJP President Shri Ameet Satam

We thank Hon’ble Chief Minister Shri Devendra Fadnavis Ji, CMO MAHARASHTRA and Shri Ameet Satam for their support to the Gondhal team as they take Marathi cinema to the global stage.

IFTDA mourns the passing of veteran actor Mushtaq Khan.

A cherished face of Indian cinema, Shri Mushtaq Khan leaves behind a rich body of work spanning decades. From memorable comic performances to diverse character roles, his distinctive screen presence and impeccable timing made him a beloved part of countless stories.

His contribution to Hindi cinema and television will be remembered with great respect and affection.

IFTDA extends its deepest condolences to his family, friends, colleagues, and loved ones.

May his soul rest in peace. 🕊️🙏
