My first figurative Watercolor painting (instead of my usual pastel pencils or oils).

What struck me most was the incredible speed and convenience of watercolors compared to oil colors. Minimal setup, quick drying, and the absolute joy of simply closing my sketchbook without a smudge in sight!

Iā€™m back in Dharamkotā€”a place that feels like home. Thereā€™s something magical here that awakens the artist in me. This time, I came prepared with my sketchbook, and Iā€™ve already found my muse: Bravey, an impossibly sweet puppy who (as you can see šŸ˜‚) holds his poses like a true professional.

For the past year, Iā€™ve stepped away from social media and even WhatsApp, craving steadiness and stillness. Now, finally, Iā€™m in a space that feels right for healingā€”long nature walks, sketching, meditation (Tush*ta and Vipassana are around the corner!).

P.S: The cafe - Hotpot House, is amazing serves healthy and tasty Vietnamese food.
