Kafali, Near Mukteshwar, District Nainital, Uttarakhand, at an altitude of about 6000 ft. AMSL (2000 mtrs.), located geographically in Central Himalayan Region of Kumaon Himalayas. This place is surrounded by lush green forests of Pine, Oak, Rhododendron and other local flora. This part of Kumaon is also famous for Apple Orchids and other locally grown fruits like Plum, Apricot, Bayberry, Kilmora etc. The area is one of the most fertile regions in Central Himalayas and is also known for its organic vegetable farming. Tiger, Beer, Leopard, Wild Boar, Wild Pig and various other Terai Region animals and birds. The lush green campsite is situated amidst lush green forests and step farms in a serene location on a road-head, which is about 4.5 kms. away from a small hamlet Kasiyalekh, situated on main Bhawali – Mukteshwar Highway. The camp-site has 10 luxury Swiss Cottages with attached toilets for comfortable stay. There are 3 basic family tents and number of Alpine 4 men tents, to give raw experience of camping and camp stay. The camp site is equipped with modern kitchen, wherein we serve delicious and healthy food, made from locally grown organic vegetables. Besides a closed Dining Hall, there are about half a dozen open Dining Areas in the camp site, where the delicious food can be enjoyed in the lap of nature.
