The Arangetram of Asha Laskar, presented in Atlanta, USA, stands as the first memorable overseas accomplishment in my journey as a Guru. Witnessing a disciple blossom through years of dedicated training and culminating that journey on stage is an experience that is both humbling and deeply rewarding.
What once appeared to be an ambitious undertaking, almost beyond imagination, unfolded seamlessly and concluded in what felt like a fleeting moment, like a dream leaving behind a treasury of cherished memories and profound fulfilment.
My heartfelt congratulations to Asha Laskar for her sincerity, perseverance, and commitment to this art form. May this milestone mark the beginning of an enriching and lifelong journey in Bharatanatyam.
I extend my deepest gratitude to the team of musicians Srivatsa sir, Srihari rangaswamy sir, Narasimha sir, Srinidhi sir, whose unwavering support, artistry, and encouragement throughout this journey made this presentation truly special.
A deep and special thank you to Asha's parents, Smt. Shilpi Laskar and Sri Sonjoy Laskar, who were the unwavering backbone behind this entire endeavour. Their faith, dedication, and tireless efforts transformed this dream into a beautiful reality. To Meera and Radhika, Asha's wonderful sisters, thank you for being an enthusiastic support system throughout this journey, offering constant encouragement and warmth every step of the way.
My sincere thanks to Smt. Anasuya Gunturi and Smt. Sushma Rao for graciously presiding over the occasion and lending their esteemed presence to this memorable event.
As this beautiful chapter draws to a close, it leaves each one of us with memories that will be treasured for years to come.
