Press Release from Sikkim Film Board

Gangtok, Sept 14: (IPR) Chairperson, Sikkim Film Promotion Board Mrs Pooja Sharma along with the officers of SFPB and Film artists of the state called on the Hon'ble Minister, IPR Shri B.S.Panth at his office today.

He was offered khadas and was congratulated for taking charge as the Minister of IPR Department.

During the meeting, the artists put forth their greviences and also highlighted about the issues which they face on a day to day basis. The Minister noted all the points and assured to look into the matter on a priority basis.

The Chairperson, SFPB Mrs Pooja Sharma also apprised about the functioning of the Board and discussed in length about the various issues and deliberations concerning the activities of the Board. The Minister gave a positive hearing and urged for working hand in hand for the welfare of the artists and filmmakers of the state.
