When a Guru and Shishya share the stage, music becomes a living legacy. 🎶

The second half of Anubandh – A Sacred Bond brought a deeply special musical moment to life—a Sitar Duet by Ustad Rafique Khan and his disciple Shri Ankush N Nayak.

A journey that began with a young disciple learning from his Guru, nurtured over decades through dedication, discipline and devotion, culminated in a musical dialogue between two generations.

Accompanied by the rhythmic brilliance of Pt. Yogesh Samsi and his disciple Shri Yashwant Vaishnav, the performance was a celebration of the very essence of the Guru–Shishya Parampara.

For us, this was the heart of Anubandh—not simply witnessing two artistes perform together, but witnessing a tradition, a relationship and a musical legacy continue to unfold.

A heartfelt thank you to Ustad Rafique Khan, Shri Ankush N Nayak, Pt. Yogesh Samsi and Shri Yashwant Vaishnav for creating this unforgettable musical moment.

A Guru. A disciple. A shared musical language. A sacred bond. ❤️

An evening of melody, tradition and musical legacy. 🎶

The first half of Anubandh – A Sacred Bond brought together the soulful artistry of Kashyap Bandhu — Shri Prabhakar & Shri Diwakar Kashyap, disciples of the legendary Pt. Rajan & Pt. Sajan Mishra.

Their performance was a beautiful reflection of the Guru–Shishya Parampara—where a Guru’s musical legacy finds new expression through the next generation.

Accompanied by Dr. Ravindra Katoti on Harmonium and Shri Yashwant Vaishnav on Tabla, the recital filled Chowdaiah Memorial Hall with the richness and emotion of Hindustani Classical Music.

A heartfelt thank you to Kashyap Bandhu, Dr. Ravindra Katoti and Shri Yashwant Vaishnav for making this musical chapter of Anubandh so memorable—and to everyone who joined us and shared this beautiful evening with us. ❤️

A legacy received. A tradition carried forward. A bond expressed through music.

Some evenings end. Some stay with you. 🎶

Anubandh – A Sacred Bond was an evening that celebrated something far greater than music—the timeless Guru–Shishya Parampara and the relationships through which musical traditions continue to live and evolve.

From the soulful voices of Kashyap Bandhu, disciples of Pt. Rajan & Pt. Sajan Mishra, to the rhythmic brilliance of Pt. Yogesh Samsi and Shri Yashwant Vaishnav, and the deeply personal Sitar Duet of Ustad Rafique Khan and Shri Ankush N Nayak—the evening brought generations of musical learning together on one stage.

A heartfelt thank you to every artiste, collaborator and, most importantly, every member of the audience who joined us at Chowdaiah Memorial Hall and made the evening truly special.

Anubandh may have been one evening, but the bond it celebrated continues.

Until we meet again. ❤️
