Dr. Pramod Sawant, you promised that anyone who insults religious sentiments in Goa would be held accountable, no exceptions. We’ve seen swift action from your government – Muslims, Catholics, and others have been arrested for comments, posts, and remarks. Even a simple post on Hindu deities led to immediate arrests, and priests have been taken to task. But when it comes to Subash Velinkar, who has repeatedly insulted the Catholic community and disrespected St. Francis Xavier, there’s complete silence from your side.
Why this double standard? What makes Subhash Velinkar untouchable? While you’ve acted decisively in other cases, it’s clear you’re afraid to take action against him. Why? Is Subhash Velinkar above the law, or are you choosing not to enforce it when it comes to him?
If you can’t arrest him, then why make promises you can’t keep? This exposes a serious flaw in your leadership. Who is the real Chief Minister here, you or Subhash Velinkar? Your inaction is not just incompetence; it’s a betrayal of the trust Goans placed in you.
We demand answers and accountability. Act now or admit that you’ve failed as a leader.
