Before Repertwahr became the city’s go-to for art, music, culture, food and all things happening, its roots were planted in theatre.

From the mehfils and qissagoi of Awadh to Lucknow’s historic stages, theatre has long been woven into the Lucknows cultural fabric. The forms may have evolved, but the love for the stage remained alive.

Slowly, Repertwahr became a home for that love, bringing stories, seasoned kalakars and audiences together, year after year.

Magar kisi purani dehleez par, kisi bazaar ki awaaz mein, kisi khushboo mein ya kisi buzurg ki baat mein, unki goonj aaj bhi sunai deti hai.
