This piece of art is dedicated to Lord Shrinathji.

Shrinathji is the manifestation of Lord Krishna in the form of a seven-year old child. He is the main deity of the Vaishnava sect. The Shrinathji temple of Nathdwara is also known as 'Srinathji Ki Haveli'.

Initially, the child Krishna deity was referred to as Devadāman ("the conqueror of Gods" referring to the over-powering of lord Indra by lord Krishna in the lifting of Govardhan hill). Vallabhacharya named him as Gopala and the place of his worship as ‘Gopalpur’. Later, Vitthal Nathji named the deity as Shrinathji.

The idol of Shrinathji is considered to be self-manifested. Historically, the idol of Shrinathji was first worshipped on the Govardhan Hill near Mathura. The idol was brought to Nathdwara to save it from the attack of Mughal ruler Aurangzeb. The city of Nathdwara is known as 'Shrinathji'.

Vallabhacharya's son Vithalnathji institutionalised the worship of Shrinathji in Nathdwara. Shrinathji is worshipped mainly by followers of Bhakti Yoga and by Vaishnavites and Bhatias and others in Gujarat and Rajasthan. The royal king family of Nathdwara belongs to the lineage of Vallabhacharya Mahaprabhuji.

The temple at Nathdwara is an important Vaishnavite temple belonging to the Pushti Marg or Vallabha Sampradaya or pure Advaita founded by Vallabha Acharya.

This is my latest creation - "The True Soul-Mates". A painting depicting Radha-Krishna. They are the epitome of self-less love. Though separated in mortal but united in soul, RadhaKrishna have always been inseparable. They are the very definition of Pure Love.

Radha-Krishna (rādhā-kṛṣṇa, राधा कृष्ण) is the combined form of the Hindu god Krishna with his chief consort and shakti Radha. They are regarded as the feminine as well as the masculine realities of God,in several Krishnaite traditions of Vaishnavism. They are considered the God and Goddess of LOVE. They are avatar of Lakshmi Narayana.
