Heya!!
So the first illustration of the Avatar series is up!
Katara usually seemed to be sweet and simple girl in the beginning, but gradually grew as one of the most powerful characters in the ATLA universe. What I love the most about her is positive vibes and how she is so fiercely protective of those she loves, specially Aang.
I started watching Avatar the last air bender after a friend recommended it and like every other person who has watched the show, I loved it. I also got into and . The same friend who suggested the series also came across this wonderful artwork by ma'am and suggested that I draw it ( Swipe till the end to see the original piece). So I took inspiration from the piece and made a digital version on the . (Thanks to for the workshop)
So this is my first piece of the whole series featuring mainly the women in the Avatar series!

On the occasion of Hindi Diwas, every year, our school used to have a special assembly to help us understand the importance of the day. Those long assemblies with speeches and skits felt like torture back then but now, years after I have been out of school, I actually miss all those long assemblies and cribbing about them to my best friends?
Remembering those days, I did something different for the day and made this cute digital illustrations with digital calligraphy style that I picked up from a google image and some simple and neat zentangle art patterns (I am obsessed with the spirals).
