It was a happy moment to know that our work ‘Bhranthu: A Mediated Performance’ is being mentioned in an article in Open Magazine. Journalist and theatre practitioner Parshathy J writes on how new performing venues are explored by contemporary performers in India. A detailed review and perspectives on contemporary performance practices that happen in alternative spaces in India.
I am happy to be mentioned along with the contemporary artists in the field like Amitesh Grover, my teacher; friends, and colleagues like Rajiv Krishnan, Kumaradas T N, Lapdiang Syiem, Aliyar Ali and Sudheer C. "Theater is the artform of experience"

Today is great occasion to see the photos of the shows of Bhranthu : A Mediated Performance based on C Ayypans short story as we celebrate the 'World Theatre Day'. Bhranthu was performed first in Calicut, 2019 and then in Kochi.The one hour performance was performed in an Ambassador car with four viewers at a time. Like everybody, pandemic has affected us too. In December 2021, performance was again showcased for two days in HopeFest organised by KSNA, Thrissur. As things are opening up and getting better, we hope we can perform in more venues. It was a memorable journey with many friends. We collaborated as team and worked hard. It is always special to remember this journey on this day. We understand the world through theatre. We travelled together with theatre. We expressed our views via theatre.

“ Theater is the artform of experience…. Theater has always presented the life of this world as resembling a mirage, enabling us to see through human illusion, delusion, blindness, and denial with liberating clarity and force.”
