KALĀSPANDA ACADEMY for arts is the brainchild of its Founder and Director, Sri Saantanu Roy a distinguished Bharatanatyam artist based in Kolkata, West Bengal.

The motto of this organization is to promote Indian classical arts—specifically dance and music—across the globe, and to bring structured education in these classical art forms to remote areas of India and abroad where they have rarely reached.

Driven by a deep passion for preserving and spreading India’s rich cultural heritage, the Academy strives to make authentic classical training accessible to aspiring students everywhere. By bridging geographical boundaries, KALĀSPANDA envisions a world where traditional art forms flourish, inspiring future generations of artists and enthusiasts alike. Through dedicated instruction, workshops, and global outreach, the Academy creates meaningful platforms for cultural exchange and artistic expression, ensuring that the timeless grace of Indian classical arts continues to thrive worldwide.
