position of Kathak dance. From the very beginning, this organization is carrying out manifold activities and experiments, maintaining the status and quality of Kathak. Upasana Centre for Dance is one of the most prestigious dance institutes in the sub-continent. It has not limited itself only to performance but also in various other activities to exchange international cultural relations.

Upasana Centre for Dance has a student strength of 200 approximately. The efficient and learned mentors regularly teach and assess the level of the students. The Student are prior to give exams under Pracheen Kala Kendra,Chandigarh a registered organization under the Government of India.

2. PRODUCTION UNIT

The production unit under the mentoring of Ashimbandhu Bhattacharjee performs the choreographies. The unit consists of the senior artistes from Upasana Centre for Dance. The group performs in many prestigious festivals as well.
