Our esteemed club, Pally Mangal Samity, located in a posh area on Prince Anwar Shah Road, started organizing the Annual Durga Puja celebrations in the year 1960. Durga Puja the biggest festival of Bengali people brings lot of joy, fun and spirituality along with it. Bengali people wait whole year for this 5 days long festival. For whole Bengali fraternity puja starts with shopping and then with t
he immortal voice of Sri Birendra Krishna Bhadra at the dawn of Mahalaya. But for every big puja organisers Durga puja starts 3-4 months before puja. And this is no exception for Pally Mangal Samity Durga Puja Committee. This year our puja steps into 63rd year of Durga Puja celebration. Like past 62 glorious years we will be trying to worship Maa Durga with lot of Devotion and faith. Along with that we will be trying to impose some creativity and social responsibility. In the past few years our creations have been lauded and praised by people, through which we draw inspirations for all of our endeavors. In all below pictures and details we have tried to showcase some of our past glories which have been applauded by people and media. We are confidence, this year also our puja will be a grand success with the zealous efforts of our club members and finally with the blessing from Goddess. The club has a majestic view from Prince Anwar Shah Road and is famous for the vast openness it provides to the pandal hoppers during a hectic night of Durga Puja in the congested streets of the city.
