A macro perspective on some of the most exquisite works from 'Touch Beyond the Surface,' currently on display at The Harrington Street Arts Centre and presented by Rukshaan Art

"This group of artists from Baroda shares a deep-seated pride and nostalgia for their homeland, and this sentiment within the homeland serves as the common thread that weaves their collective imagination. Forms, patterns, and figures have been elegantly crafted to capture the unique ambience of nature, architecture, and social life. The interpretation of each narrative creates a reality that genuinely reflects the artist's character and beliefs," Rukshaan Art

The Harrington Street Arts Centre and Rukshaan Art present Touch Beyond The Surface

A deep-seated pride and nostalgia for the homeland (within the homeland) is the common thread that weaves the imagination of this group of artists from Baroda.

Though the manner, medium and content of each artist’s work are distinctly different, the representation of their memories and experiences exudes the synergy of intent. Spanning different mediums like watercolours on paper on canvas, mixed media works and sculpture, every work radiates a dramatic and fresh vibe.
