Institute of Factual Theatre Arts is an Indian Theatre Repertory founded in the year 1998 with the mission of encouragement of new talents in theatre and to make it a sincere Production House for quality theatre. The group has the speciality of making its well designed plays in the form of Indian classical theatrical format with the hint of different rich folk corporals which are the heritage of o
ur country. Since last 8 years the group has been dealing with the text of Rabindranath Tagore and producing different plays on it; such as ‘Chitrangada’, ‘Sacrifice’, ‘Path….the waterfall’, ‘Horikhela….the festival of colors’, ‘Abhisar’, ‘Raja…the king of the dark chamber’. With a bunch of fresh and young theatre performers the group is carrying its journey to reach a higher level of perfection in theatrical arena. On the said journey the group has got the patronage of Ministry of Culture and Sangeet Natak Akademi. Since last few years the group participated in different prestigious theatre festivals nationwide; such as ‘11th Bharat Rang Mahotsava’ (New Delhi), ‘Sangeet Natak Akademi Theatre Festival’ (Patna), ‘Patliputra Nattya Mahotsava’ (Bihar), ‘IPTA Theatre Festival(at Raigarh, Chattisgarh & Madhepura, Bihar), ‘Aadi Vidrohi Nattya Samaroha’ (Bhopal, M.P.), ‘Bahurupee Natty Utsav’ (Asssam), Paschim Bangya Nattya Mela’ (Kolkata, W.B.)
