Hello all!!
SPICMACAY, in association with Dance Club, will be conducting a Odissi dance workshop on 31st October, 1st and 2nd November 2019.
We will be taught by one of the country's most talented and renowned Odissi dancers, Ms. Janhabi Behera, who has accepted our invitation and will be arriving from Bhubaneswar, Odisha to teach us the beautiful Indian classical dance form, Odissi (webpage: http://janhabibehera.com/).
We urge you all to attend this workshop as it will be a once-in-a-lifetime experience to learn and be in the presence of such a learned and talented individual.

Remember to carry a water bottle and a towel for the workshop.

Saarang is the annual students' concert conducted by the SPICMACAY chapter of IISER Kolkata

It is our pleasure to present the new edition of in house concert, Hindol. This is the last activity organised by the SPICMACAY chapter this semester, also the last event supervised by the outgoing committee.

The event will commence tomorrow at 7:00 pm, venue: G05, the student performers are :

1) Sohail Dasgupta and Kushal Shaw on the violin

2) Ujan Chakraborty on Hawaiian guitar

3) Sroyon Sengupta, vocal

Our Dean of Academic Affairs, Prof. Soumitro Banerjee,has kindly agreed to grace the occasion with his presence and give us a nice performance on violin.

Anchita Addhya will be our host for the evening.

You are all cordially invited to attend this, probably the last student activity of this semester.

Please spread the word, and attend in large numbers!

There is a Hindusthani Classical concert in Kalyani on 2nd February, 2019 from 4 pm onwards by Pt. Jayateerth Mevundi (Hindustha Vocal) and Sri Aranya Chowdhury (Santoor). The tickets are priced at Rs. 100/200.
There are very few tickets left and we urge you all to collect them from us as soon as possible. There will be a bus given by the institute for transportation.
