Somewhere between the first introductions, the laughter, the questions, the scribbled notes, the hesitant first attempts and the final applause, something special happened. ❀️

The workshops at Dramebaazi 2026 were designed as spaces to explore, experiment and discover. Over three days, children and young people stepped into worlds of storytelling, movement, music, filmmaking, writing, craft, dance, performance and so much more, guided by artists, educators and practitioners who generously shared their knowledge and passion.

What we loved most wasn't just what was taught, but what unfolded in the room. New friendships. New ideas. Unexpected confidence. Curiosity taking centre stage.

Looking back, we're reminded that some of the most meaningful moments happen not on a stage, but in a circle of people creating, learning and imagining together.

Here's a glimpse into the workshops that made Dramebaazi 2026 such a memorable experience. ✨

If you listen carefully, we swear the applause is still echoing somewhere. ❀️

The Final Showcase was everything we hoped it would be and a little more. Young performers taking the stage, artists sharing their craft, audiences cheering them on, and an entire community coming together for one unforgettable evening at the Indian Museum.

Three days. Countless stories.

And somehow, it all ended far too quickly.

Thank you to all the organisations, young performers, facilitators, artists, guests of honour, families and audiences who joined us and made Dramebaazi 2026 what it was. Your presence, energy and belief in the arts helped turn a festival into a shared celebration.

Here's a glimpse of a night we'll be talking about for a long time. ❀️

🎭 Admissions Open for the Children's Theatre Course

Some children love telling stories. Some love asking questions. Some love pretending to be someone else for a little while.

Theatre gives them a space to do all of that and more.

Designed and led by Ramanjit Kaur and Baisali Chatterjee Dutt, our Children's Theatre Course encourages creativity, confidence, communication, collaboration and critical thinking through theatre games, improvisation, storytelling and performance.

More than learning how to act, children learn how to express themselves, work with others, trust their ideas and discover their own unique voice.

Behind every performance, workshop, conversation, late-night call, last-minute change and standing ovation is a team that quietly makes it all happen.

Meet the team behind Dramebaazi – International Arts Festival for the Young.

Led by Festival Director Ramanjit Kaur, Baisali Chatterjee Dutt and Festival Curator Ruhani Singh, this festival came together through the dedication, creativity and hard work of our passionate group of young individuals who believed in the power of the arts and showed up for that vision every single day.

From production and design to social media, documentation, content, administration and countless moments in between, every person on this team played a part in bringing Dramebaazi 2026 to life.

This festival may have lasted three days, but it is built over months of dreaming, planning, creating and showing up for one another.

Here's to the people behind the scenes who made the magic possible. ❀️
