Enjoy this new live bootleg of Los Amigos live at 40A Creative Studio, Calcutta on Thursday, 18 July 2013.

Los Amigos are India’s premier Latin Jazz outfit and they happened to have a very special guest along with them the night I decided to tape their entire concert – Sergio Dinarte, who had come down from El Salvador to play a series of concerts with the Amigos. Los Amigos are an electrifying Latin outfit with the ability to immediately bring anyone to their feet. This is Cantaloupe Island, a Herbie Hancock Jazz standard.

The Amigos are –
Monojit Dutta - Tumbadora and other percussions
Pradyumna Singh Manot – Piano
Emmanuel Simon – Bongos, Guiro, Bongo Bell and other percussions
Premjit Dutta – Timbales
Sergio Dinarte – Bass

Recorded in field at 40A Creative Studio, Calcutta. Mixed and Mastered by Shaurjya Banerjee, at The Music from Mars Studios, Calcutta.

Enjoy this new track from our as yet unreleased re-imagination of The Pink Floyd's legendary 1973 album, The Dark Side of the Moon.

The first guitar solo in this song is by the amazing Mr. Rajorshi Bhattacharyya who has done a slide guitar interpretation of Dick Parry's iconic Saxophone solo. The next solo to hit you square in the chest is by the insane Mr. Tejasvin Ashok. The vocals are doubled by the amazing duo of Mark Papang and Ishan Lal. And oh by the way, the bass was laid down by only the best bassist I've ever had the pleasure of working with - Bachospati Chakraborty. Enjoy this song fresh from The Dark Side.
