🎤Experience exotic and enchanting moments with two Korean stories which originated from shamanistic ritual songs. They have been performed by shamans and pansori singers and handed down from mouth to mouth until today. Seung Ah is going to show how she has combined Korean storytelling style with western storytelling techniques for her global audience.

💃🏼A pioneer who introduced storytelling as an art form in Korea, Seung Ah is the first contemporary professional storyteller of Korea and the founder of Arirang Storytelling and K-Storytelling World Tour Project. She has performed in more than 18 countries on 5 continents. In 2019 she received a Global Culture Award as a cultural storyteller ambassador at the first Arirang Korea Award. She founded Arirang Storytelling in memory of her grandmother.

*Amanda Rountree (USA)* has been performing improvisational theatre professionally since 1992, teaching since 1998, and directing since 2002. She is also a storyteller, writer, puppeteer, and solo-performer. In 2014, she moved to the Atlanta area from Chicago, where she was a faculty member with the Second City Training Center, an ensemble member with WNEP Theatre, and a writer/puppeteer with SNORF.

Such videos make our days brighter. After Storytelling session, for reinforcement, this child is reading the book...but now accompanied by rhymes and gestures that he learnt during the session!

Arts4Change International in association with Wild Strawberry and ALL Ladies League Storytelling Kolkata Chapter presents the third edition of 'P4Positive. P4Period’ — A Menstruation Festival with narratives, to create a new narrative of breaking taboos and unplugging stigmas around Menstruation.

Till date, considering Menstruation as just another biological process, speaking freely about the same or even pronouncing the word ‘periods’ in public are taboos in many cultures around the world. In such a condition, a day dedicated to menstrual health is of immense importance.
