Seagull Sound is the not-so-secret lair of Calcutta-based guitar player / composer / producer Varun Kishore. It is an acoustically treated single-room facility located at the Seagull Foundation for the Arts in Calcutta. It houses some tasty gear and a producer/engineer—and perhaps more importantly, musician—who knows it inside out. Since it is primarily my personal work environment, the gear is al

l mine and has been acquired (and used!) over a period of several years. My familiarity with the room and the equipment as well as my experience (both as a musician and from having recorded other musicians) means that getting great-sounding results is that much quicker.
