Healthcare workers dedicate their lives to saving others. Violence against them—especially the targeted, horrific violence against a female doctor on duty—is completely unacceptable.

We stand in absolute solidarity with the medical community. A hospital must be a place of healing, not a place of fear.

We demand immediate justice, strict accountability, and institutional reforms to guarantee the safety of every healthcare professional. This brutality cannot, and will not, be tolerated.

কখনও কখনও অনাকাঙ্ক্ষিত দুর্ঘটনা ঘটে যায়, তবুও ডাক্তাররা তাদের সর্বোচ্চ চেষ্টা দিয়ে কাজ করে যান। তাই কোনো ঘটনার বিচার নিজের হাতে না নিয়ে, আইনের উপর তুলে দিন ,ভরসা রাখুন এবং প্রশাসন কে সহযোগীতা করুন ।

Doctors dedicate their lives to saving others, and any form of violence against them is completely unacceptable.
Why did the public take the law into their own hands?
Why was proper protection not provided despite the presence of police?

Baba Tilka Majhi (11 February 1750 – 13 January 1785) was one of the earliest and bravest Adivasi leaders who raised his voice against British colonial rule long before the revolt of 1857. He united tribal communities and led a historic resistance against the East India Company, standing firmly for self-rule, dignity, and justice.

He fought to protect jal, jangal, zameen and the traditional Adivasi way of life from exploitation. Popular accounts also remember his fearless attack on British officer Augustus Cleveland, symbolising the spirit of resistance against oppression.

Baba Tilka Majhi’s struggle reminds us that Adivasi resistance forms a powerful and central chapter in India’s freedom movement. He is not just a figure of history — he represents consciousness, courage, identity, and continuity.
