While folk forms can express a strong sense of local heritage, they are often marginalized in national cultural discourses, leaving them under-supported. The aim of the page is to give focus to folk performance traditions, understand the value of these forms, investigates the changes taking place in them, the consequences of these change, and explore new responses to change.
