A proud moment for CIMA. ✨

Our artist Kingshuk Sarkar has been honoured at the Anandabazar.com Bochhorer Best Awards 2026, recognising his contribution to reviving the artistic dialogue between Bengal and Japan.

Rooted in the traditions of Santiniketan and the Bengal School, Kingshuk’s practice draws upon handmade paper, natural pigments and calligraphy to create a distinctive contemporary language.

We are delighted to see the work of an artist closely associated with CIMA receive this well-deserved recognition.
