The year was 2006, I was in class 8. A rainy dull evening, and started watching a film with STALWART Dharma cast. 'KABHI ALVIDA NA KEHENA'
I still remember everyone in my family were disgusted after watching it. They called it mundane, but me a 14-year guy, don't know why loved the film.
I loved the innocent eyes of RISHI and his dialogues, 'Tum har waqt todna chahate ho, aur main har waqt jodna.'
I loved the powerful RHEA. Who chose motherhood to relish at the end of the movie. And then 'Not so perfect' love of MAYA and DEV, and that hell of a dialogue, 'Tumhari saath shayad zindegi poori nehi hogi, magar zindegi toh hogi.'
Everytime I watch this movie, still now, I get a new angle. Sometimes I feel Rhea reacts unnecessarily, at times I cry for her. Sometimes I love Rishi's 'bachpana'. At times I ponder, we all deserve an innocent lover like Rishi. Maya's stubbornness to Dev's misogyny towards Rhea. A lot I can write, but to sum up this movie creates some deep feelings for me, and it makes me believe everytime, Love can happen anytime with anyone.
All the best wishes and love for the team 'KANK' for completing 15 years of it's release.
