There is a strange restlessness in the air,like the river knows something the heart is still trying to understand. The light burns and dissolves into water, just like emotions we can never fully hold onto. People walk along the ghats, carrying their own silent stories, their own incomplete sentences "baat hui na poori re…”as if something always remains unsaid.
Mann Kasturi Re speaks of that quiet search within us the kind that takes us across places, through memories, through longing only to realize that what we were chasing was never outside. Like the kasturi deer, we run through the world, drawn by a fragrance that actually belongs to us. And maybe that’s what this moment captures the pause between searching and understanding.
The city stands still, ancient and grounded in its ritualsjag dasturi re but the heart refuses to follow rules. It wanders, it questions, it burns softly like this golden reflection on water. The river keeps flowing, carrying everything faith, doubt, loss, hope without ever stopping to explain.
And somewhere between the fire and the reflection, between movement and stillness, between what is said and what is felt…
we find ourselves.
Or maybe, we are still searching.
