Michael Jackson tribute night at Skinny Mo's was on another level! Honestly, we had no idea it was going to blow up the way it did.

Playing MJ's music is definitely not easy, but The Archives absolutely crushed it. They brought so much of their own flavor to the songs while keeping the vibe completely true to the original tracks.

It wasn't just a regular tribute, it was a wild reminder of how powerful MJ songs really are.

Seriously, it was such a great night. We're still buzzing from it!

To begin, the barest fragments of a plan. Armed with their instruments, and maps that are mostly blank, the players set out into a shapeshifting realm that reveals itself shyly, sound by sound and silence by silence.

The distinction between creation and discovery becomes increasingly confused, as the players explore untested routes, backtrack, document their findings, rest, dream, begin again, zigzag, lose their way, signal for help...

Jamsteady Listening Party with Dazed and Confused Collective

Ishani (Dazed and Confused) and Aishika have been friends for a decade, first meeting in college. Bonding over books, films and music, they thought they had found all the stories they needed. But as ARMYs know, "You don't find BTS, BTS finds you." 💜

For this edition of Jamsteady, they present Chapter 13: a BTS Festa listening experience celebrating 13 years of BTS: from No More Dream to ARIRANG.

Moving through the band's many eras, the evening traces themes of youth, ambition, friendship, loss, love and home through a carefully curated selection of songs, including a full listening of ARIRANG.

Whether you've been here since 2013, found BTS along the way, or are discovering them for the first time, this evening is for you: make new memories and revisit the stories that have stayed with you all this time. 💜✨

Last week we hosted a Michael Jackson tribute night, and it turned into something far bigger than we could have imagined.

The truth is, MJ fever is very real. Taking on the music of one of the greatest pop artists to ever live is no easy task. It takes courage, conviction, and a deep respect for the material. The Archives embraced that challenge and delivered, song after song, adding their own personality and touch while staying true to the spirit of the music.

From the very first note, the room came alive. People sang at the top of their lungs, danced without inhibition, and celebrated the life and legacy of an artist whose music continues to connect generations.

For a few hours, it wasn’t just a tribute concert. It was a reminder of how powerful great songs can be, and why Michael Jackson remains one of the most influential performers the world has ever seen.

A special night, and one we won’t forget anytime soon.

These are moments from Queering The Frame at Skinny Mo’s - a special Pride Month edition of the Jamsteady Listening Party.

Queering The Frame (Priyadarshini) took us through a deeply personal playlist that moved effortlessly between Bengali classics, disco, house, folk, and everything in between.

As always, the music became the meeting point. We listened closely, sang along when we couldn’t help ourselves, discovered new favourites, revisited old ones, and spent an evening connecting through sound and conversation.

Aamir Rizvi is performing his original music set, Emergency Contact, live for the first time at Skinny Mo’s!

Aamir has been a major part of Kolkata's music scene since 2020. He has performed alongside some of the country's finest musicians and carved out his own unique genre by mixing Funk, Jazz, RnB, and Latin music. This special show showcases his new sound ahead of his first studio album dropping later in 2026.

Come enjoy a night of fresh, original songs filled with high-energy funk grooves and smooth jazz melodies.
