We are thrilled to share glimpses of our 5-day journey to Silchar as part of the Inter-District Youth Exchange Program (IDYEP) 2026. This program was more than just a visit; it was a profound exchange of heritage, values, and friendship.
​From the spiritual serenity of Sree Kanchakanti Mandir to the historical grandeur of Khaspur Rajbari, every moment was a lesson in Assam’s diverse beauty. A highlight for our group was the village visit with Sanatan Unnayan Sangstha, where we connected with local families and understood the heartbeat of rural Cachar.

More than 30 families in Karigaon have watched their homes turn to ashes. Beyond the walls and roofs, students have lost their hard-earned certificates and books—their entire future feels paused. Over 40 families are now living in camps with no proper food, clothes, or shelter. We cannot replace their memories, but we can help them rebuild. Let’s stand together for humanity. An astonishing sight in Kokrajhar! More than 25,000 men, women, students, and youth united to perform Zubeen Garg's classic, 'Mayaabini Raati Bukkut,' on his birthday!
Led by the BTC government under Hagrama Mohilary, this massive effort by 26 communities is attempting to secure a spot in the 'Asia Book of Records'! A true demonstration of cultural unity and passion.

Held at Amguri L.P. School on September 25, 2025, the event saw fantastic participation from bright young minds. Their enthusiasm made the celebration truly special.

A beautiful moment of cultural exchange! During a 12-day program of the Assam Ethnic Cultural Harmony and Exchange Mission, artists from the Santal tribe performed the Banai 'gulikanchi' dance. It's a testament to the dedication of all the participants and our Banai experts who made this exchange possible. We are deeply grateful to the Srimanta Sankaradeva Kalakshetra, Guwahati for this wonderful opportunity to share and learn with other tribes.
