Launchpad Casting Launchpad Casting is an Ad/Movies casting venture based in Kochi started by three friends/colleagues who are extremely passionate about CINEMA.

The core team of LAUNCHPAD Casting comprises of Ajai Rahul and Merlin Babu.Ajai Rahul has been a storyteller all his life, although he is an editor by profession, he loves anything and everything to do with cinema. He is also a scriptwriter. He is a people’s person which is why loves meeting new people. This helps in being a Casting director as one is constantly on the lookout of new talent. Merli

n Babu is a well known Assistant Director who has worked with top directors in the Malayalam film industry such as Anil Radhakrishnan Menon, Siddharth Bharathan and Venu. She is one energetic and passionate filmmaker in the making. Her multi-award winning short films stand testimony to this budding filmmaker’s talent. Casting is something she holds very dearly as she believes it excites her to find that right cast for the characters that are envisioned by the filmmakers. The team also comprises of hard working and dedicated individuals who work round the clock to run LAUNCHPAD as a well oiled machine. They are Ashley and Sreenath Mannadiar.
